What should I do if I want to withdraw assets that are not supported on other platforms?

When you withdraw cryptos from OKX, please ensure that the network and crypto are supported by the recipient's platform or wallet. Once your withdrawal status is marked as In Progress or Transferred Out, you cannot cancel the withdrawal on OKX. You will need to contact the recipient's platform or wallet for assistance in recovering or reversing the transaction.

1. If you used a network not supported by the other platform or withdrew an unsupported crypto, you need to contact the other platform or wallet for assistance.

Problem scenario:

Before withdrawing cryptos, please confirm that the recipient platform or wallet supports the network and address. For example, some platforms or wallets do not support or are not compatible with the Ton or X-layer networks. Therefore, when withdrawing USDT, you cannot use these two networks, even if the fees are lower.

Solution:

Before depositing, ensure that both the network and the crypto are supported by the platform. If you withdraw an asset that the other platform does not support, or use an incompatible network, you will need to contact the other platform or wallet for assistance.

2. If the network or address is inconsistent, you need to contact the other platform or wallet for resolution.

Problem scenario:

The deposit and withdrawal networks and addresses must match for the transaction to succeed. When withdrawing, you need to copy the deposit address from the other platform or wallet. Before copying the deposit address, please ensure that the deposit network and crypto match the withdrawal network and crypto.

For example, when withdrawing USDT from OKX, if you choose the Tron network, you must also select a USDT address on the Tron network when copying the recipient's deposit address to ensure a successful deposit and withdrawal.

If you choose USDT on the X Layer network and the other platform or wallet does not support the X Layer network, you cannot use the USDT deposit address from other networks. Even if the crypto is the same, USDT, a network mismatch will result in withdrawal failures.

Solution:

Once your withdrawal status is marked as "Withdrawing" or "Transferred Out," you cannot cancel the withdrawal on the platform. The assets have already left the OKX platform. You can only consult the customer support of the receiving platform or wallet to find out how to recover your assets.

3. Ensure that the deposit and withdrawal networks and addresses match. Please confirm whether the other platform or wallet has credited the funds.

Problem scenario:

When withdrawing cryptos, the speed of block confirmations on the network, as well as the block confirmation speed of the receiving platform and wallet, determines whether the assets can be received promptly on the recipient's platform.

When the network is busy and there are many onchain transactions waiting for confirmation, it can slow down the confirmation speed. This may cause withdrawal cryptos to be delayed. For example, during a high volume of NFT transactions, the Ethereum network can become congested, leading to longer withdrawal times and block confirmation times, which means assets may not arrive promptly.

Different platforms or wallets have varying requirements for the number of block confirmations. This means that even if the assets have been transferred from the withdrawal side, the receiving platform or wallet may still require a certain number of block confirmations before the assets are credited, resulting in a temporary delay in the crediting of assets.

Solution:

Once your withdrawal status is marked as "Withdrawing" or "Transferred Out," it means the assets have left the OKX platform. You can only consult the customer support of the receiving platform or wallet to find out when the funds will arrive.
