Owning digital assets (NFTs) is still such a mental leap for many people. 2021 unlocked that for many.. but it's not really clear to me that we are continuing to help others to make that mental leap. I look at graphs like below from @a16zcrypto and think maybe it's just the current collections bleeding out due to too much speculative price action. Maybe people really do like their NFTs but they want really cheap ones. If I had to diagnose what's wrong with the NFT market more broadly, the class of 2021 has a gambling problem and therefore increasingly less capital to deploy with time and most everyone else post 2021 still doesn't see meaningful value in buying into the category. Would be really interesting to see 'right click save' belief over time and whether the needle has moved at all in recent years.
